Pre-Test Program

Increases your chance of achieving UL Recognition for plastics, PWB, and wire & cable products

ID test and Flame test are two significant tests for verifying compliance of materials used in plastics, wire and cable, and PWB with relevant UL standards. Non-compliance found during the full investigation process inevitably lengthens the turnaround time for attaining UL Recognition.

UL Pre-test Program is designed to help manufacturers of Plastics, PWB, and Wire & Cable products increase the chance of obtaining UL Recognition. Through this program, UL conducts Flame Test and ID Test on your products prior to the full investigation. This helps you select compliant materials and additives in the early product development stage.
