UL 1086 Household Trash Compactors, 4th Edition
  1. The total horsepower (hp) rating for the trash compactor shall not be less than the hp rating of the motor as indicated on the motor nameplate.
  2. If the appliance employs either multiple motors or the combination of a motor or motors and other loads, the hp rating of the appliance shall be the equivalent of the hp rating of the combined loads.

UL 1047 Isolated Power Systems Equipment, 4th Edition
  1. Color-coding on the insulation on internal wiring of isolated power systems equipment revised;
  2. For a circuit providing 125-volt, single phase, 15- and 20- ampere receptacles, the orange conductor or conductors shall be connected to the terminal on the receptacle that is identified for connection of the grounded circuit conductor.

CSA C22.2 No. 125; and CSA C22.2 No. 601.1, Part 2 Series and Collateral Standards Medical Electrical Equipment Part 1: General Requirements for Safety, Part 2: Particular Standards

All equipment previously manufactured and certified to the requirements in the CSA C22.2 No. 125 standard must comply with the requirements of the CSA C22.2 No. 601.1, Part 2 Series and Collateral Standards. UL will review the following CUL product categories by January 1, 2005 to ensure that all products comply with CSA 22.2 No. 601.1:KFBQ7 and 8, KFBY7, KFCG7, KFFG7 and 8, and QQHM8.
