arrow UL officer takes lead in examining national standards strategy
  Joe Bhatia, UL's executive vice president – international, has been appointed to chair the American National Standards Institute's newly established National Standards Strategy Committee (NSSC). The NSSC has been convened to determine whether the national standards strategy – first approved in August 2000 – needs to be revised to reflect current issues and anticipated trends. The NSSC comprises 22 members representing diverse interests in the standards and conformity assessment community.
