Fire Product Type Approval
A compulsory certification for fire products entering the China Market

Fire Product Type Approval or CCCF Approval is a compulsory certification for fire products entering the China market. With the permission of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China, the China Certification Center for Fire Products (CCCF) is responsible for governing the Fire Product Type Approval.

Starting January 1, 2003, specified categories of fire products without obtaining the CCCF Approval and the certificate mark should not be produced, sold and distributed in Mainland China. Till August 2004, CCCF has issued 7,790 certificates for 1,730 applicants.
