AQSIQ
and CNCA announced on Sept. 12, 2005 (announcement no. 137) that the following
13 types of automotive products will be subject to mandatory CCC certificatin
starting December 1, 2006:
- Audible
warning device (horn)
- Retro-reflective
marking
- Braking
hose
- Vehicle
external lighting and light-signalling devices
- Rear-view
mirrors for Motor vehicles
- Internal
fitting materials (Flammability)
- Door
lock and door hinge
- Fuel
tank
- Seat
and head restraint
- Motorcycle
rear-view mirror product
- Motorcycle
exterior lighting and lighting signal equipments
- Traveling
data recorder (tachograph)
- Retro-reflecting
device

Products
without the CCC certificaiton or CCC mark after December 1, 2006
can not be imported, distributed and sold in China. Manufacturers
can start applying for CCC certification for the above products
after December 1, 2005.
